Seminar: Automated Robot welding
08 JUNE 2021The CCoA Seminar “Automated Robot Welding” gives an overview of the different welding methods and processes, shows advantages and also disadvantages and gives an outlook on the developments in innovative welding technology.
Our Objectives: Industrial Knowledge Transfer and job creation
The objective of the Competence Center on Automation is to train young people on the vocational and academic level
in skills required for industrial automation and development. The CCoA will carry out training and further education measures at craftsmen-, engineering and management level. We will organize and coordinate curricula development, trainings, seminars, conferences and exhibitions. The CCoA aims at the creation of new jobs and the improvement of employment-opportunities in Moroccan industries through advanced automation and digitization technologies. Our focus areas are the automotive sector, agriculture and food-processing.
Initiative and Partnerships
On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is supporting the establishment of the CCoA as part of the special initiative Training and Employment. The special initiative, which also operates under the Invest for Jobs brand, has been active in Morocco since 2019 and supports investment projects by German, European and Moroccan companies with the aim of training more qualified workers and creating sustainable jobs in Morocco. Graduate School of Leadership and Management of Steinbeis University is in the lead of the project. Several German companies from the electrical industry, such as Pflitsch GmbH, Phoenix Contact, Rittal and Siemens AG, are supporting the Competence Center on Automation. Deutsche Messe Technology Academy will provide networking activities between companies and knowledge partners as well as conferences.
MODULE
Basic skills
Basic Training: Development and application of basic training courses based on the general needs of Moroccan industry (focus on basic skills in mechanics electrical engineering and automation)
System training: Training of system integrators at a large-scale training system (skills required by future system integrators plus basic mediation of management and entrepreneurship)
Train the trainer: Training of teachers or Moroccan vacational schools and universities on control and regulation systems as well as graduates of basic- and system training
MODULE
Diversification of skills
Seminars and workshops on specific topics of advances automation technologies (on site, e-learning, online-seminars)
Networking events, based on virtual tools for know-how exchange and connecting people.
Introduction of dual training aspects for tecnical professions.
Introduction / improvement of specialized training courses for system integrators at various levels.
Design of a professional cooperation network between Moroccan industrial companies / institutions and the German industrial companies
Networking of further German companies in the electrical and mechanical engineering industries with Morocco´s core industrial sectors.
