Our Objectives: Industrial Knowledge Transfer and job creation
The objective of the Competence Center on Automation is to train young people on the vocational and academic level in skills required for industrial automation and development. The CCoA will carry out training and further education measures at craftsmen-, engineering and management level. We will organize and coordinate curricula development, trainings, seminars, conferences and exhibitions. The CCoA aims at the creation of new jobs and the improvement of employment-opportunities in Moroccan industries through advanced automation and digitization technologies. Our focus areas are the automotive sector, agriculture and food-processing.
Initiative and Partnerships
The establishment of the CCoA is supported by the Special Initiative on Training and Employment of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), which is implemented, among others, by the Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. In Morocco, the Special Initiative is implemented in cooperation with the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade.
